Then, it is extracted from the dried almond of the “calophyllum inophyllum”, a tropical tree called “tamanu” or “ati”. Tamanu oil is the sacred oil of the Polynesians. It has been used for millennia. Finally, well known in cosmetology and dermatology, it is frequently used for skin infections, burns or insect bites.
